All right, beautiful people! I have a fight partner/choreographer lined up, hooray!

Also, I need your thoughts/wishes/desires regarding our STAGE FIGHTING Patreon goal. Leave a comment here or under the YouTube video, whatever you like, and tell me what you think 😁

You need to study Form II: https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Form_II/Legends It's a one-handed lightsaber style.

I do like the idea of buckling my swash...or however that goes :)

"Upon my word, sir, your hope is a rather extraordinary one after my declaration!" (stab)

Jill Bearup

oooh...(goes to google)

I'm not left handed either! :D

I mean, I do love edged weapons...

I went and watched that James Bond fight on YouTube and I had forgotten how it was the most fun thing in the movie.

Jill Bearup

A point. :)

I am all for an Austen or Bronte character fight! What about instead of Elizabeth and Darcy it's Elizabeth and Mr. Collins in the proposal scene? Heathcliffe and Cathy could be interesting as well.

Helen Ellison

I’d love to see fencing, swinging on ropes, and maybe diving out of the way of a musket shot. I can’t think of any public domain pirate stories besides Treasure Island, but I’ll see what I can come up with.

Gene Younkin

Probably has copyright issues, but I really like the scene where Ahsoka Tano fights Darth Vader in the Star Wars Rebels season 2 finale.

I liked the fight scene from the princess bride

Curtis Charles

I’ve always been a big fan of the rapier, as there’s something to be said about proper fights with those being a bit more elegant and dignified, very tactical. Given the skill levels of yourself and Duncan, it could be some sort of master and apprentice situation. Perhaps a training session gone awry with the apprentice trying to overstep boundaries by being overconfident or brash, leading to an informal duel of sorts. It could be an opportunity for you to get better with the sword as well, as I recall that being an area you received lower marks in.

Sean Farron

Ah, but a [wo]man's reach should exceed [her] grasp, Or what's a heaven for?

Ok...it may be beyond you guys, but one of my favorite fight scenes in literature which would be amazing put to film would be the "Mort vs Death" fight at the end of Mort. Scythe vs Broad Sword. My brother and I did it once but didn't record it. If that is not in your wheelhouse, you can't go wrong with an escalation type battle like they did in that James Bond film where they started with sabers and ended up using every weapon in the building. ;-)

Cat we can do. Lightsabers we shall see, I’ve never used a two handed sword before...

Jill Bearup

LIGHT SABERS! And a cat cameo.
