2022-04-28 22:58:20 +0000 UTCActually I'd love to get you started on the mail versus plate (in media) thing. Like, who does it well? Why is plate so dominant in visuals? Is that because we think of our heroes (heroines) as knights or knight-like and those people all wore plate?

2022-04-28 17:14:51 +0000 UTCLoved the video. I also noticed while watching that the spaulders really don't seem to match the design aesthetics of the breastplate/backplate (Brackplate?) There's no fluting, the lines of the spaulders don't flow into the lines of the brackplate, the lions on the spaulders are much more pronounced and in a different style than the two on the front just below her neck.... everything about them makes it look like they were designed separately by a different person.
