Audiobook update
Added 2024-06-11 15:45:41 +0000 UTCAttempt number 3 at recording the audiobook is, I’m glad to say, going much better than attempts 1 & 2. That said, I’m still going to end up re-recording chapters 1-4. Still, I have now recorded up to the end of chapter 15, hooray! I started chapter 16, but right as I got to the Shovel Talk between Robin and Leo, the magpies came back.
The urge to strangle the various magpies and pigeons who land on my roof at random times of the day and proceed to shout at each other while I’m trying to record is…pretty strong, honestly.
Also: helicopters. Why are there so many. I don’t even live near an airport.
Regardless, while I’ve got quite a lot of construction on in the house over the next two months, I am still making progress, so I thought you should know.
I will definitely not be setting a release date until all the editing is done, but I will be putting up the odd chapter on here for you to listen to, because that seems like the kind of thing you might be interested in. Hope you’re having a good week so far, and that it is free of irritating birds and mysterious helicopters that make you feel like you’re in Welcome to Night Vale 😂
