As you know, I as well as many others have had problems with scraper bots stealing content. Now the stealing part is kind of inevitable. Put anything behind any kind of paywall and someone will post it on a chan board or torrent site. That's something you have to live with.

What you don't have to live with, is dealing with constant fake accounts created by bot that was created by a spaz who codes by smashing their puffy face into a keyboard. To this end, Patreon have been rolling out charging up front instead of the end of the month. This is because the type of failed abortion that would steal optional content from independent artists, isn't going to pay for every fake account their poorly written bot makes.

I managed to get onto the beta. So to see stuff from now on, you will pay now, not later. This will not affect most of you unless you change your pledge to a higher amount. Just a heads up if you do.

Sucks that this has happened, but sadly the world is full of arseholes. The type that decry that people's art isn't worth paying for, but worth their time to steal. I feel that I will not be the last to take up this option, so it's something you'll probably have to get used to, I'm afraid.
