So, I Hear You Like Sadistic Women? (Work scene 6 patch)

The awkward office saga continues...

---

The beach in Shizuoka was great, temperature/weather/water were all perfect. I also visited the Hihokan, essentially a funny sex museum.

I also I spent more time thinking about a certain K. Amano than I'd like (one of the towns I stayed in has a promotion deal with her latest series). At some point, I would like to do a little writeup on why I enjoy stories with sex in them even though I personally don't enjoy doing the deed irl. The basic thrust of that is that a) sex does serve as a means of communication and can push people to consider their relationship, but especially b) it takes out a good amount of annoying ambiguity from situations that are clearly leaning romantic but juke away from it at the last minute. This is a very apples and oranges comparison, but in Amano's Amanchu, the main pair spends ten volumes being increasingly intimate before their relationship is dismissed with a good one line of offhanded dialogue. Meanwhile, Yoshimura Kana's Murcielago rolls out a sex scene between the MC and her partner within the first ten pages and it is able to show a much wider variety of scenarios as a result.

Glad you're enjoying the stuff! It was a pretty fine vacation, a good mix of sightseeing/beaching in Atami and hot baths everywhere else. I needed it, too, after the summer we had here. One thing I'd note is that, if you're ever in Japan, it's worth seeking out the Uzuwa-meshi in Ito: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Uzuwa-meshi It is (I think) an Ito speciality three-course meal featuring minced Auxis (tastes like Tuna) meat. As you eat, there's a Shokugeki no Souma-esque process that turns it from sashimi to donburi to fish stew, each with a unique taste gimmick. Tastes amazing and only costs like 1200 yen (12 usd/9 euros). It's the least I've ever paid for a meal that unique.

Thank you very much! How was Vacation? I hope you had a good one..!
