✨Happy Animal Crossing time ! ✨
Who else has been busy fishing and catching bugs ? I've spent SO much time on this game last week and a half! Normally I would feel guilty about it but right now I think it's absolutely necessary to get a little escape from reality, considering the conditions we are facing right now. It was a no-brainer for me to do an Animal Crossing themed calendar for April. I really hope you like my calendar! I had so much fun creating it. Life update:
I decided to fly home to Iceland from UK to be closer to my family (and health care) during this stressful time. The British's government wasn't taking the virus seriously for so long and that made me very, very anxious. I got to Iceland on march the 23d right before UK went into lockdown. This whole situation has been REALLY stressful for me and I was not doing so well staying in a country where the government wasn't taking the virus seriously. I've been in Iceland for a week now and since I'm coming from abroad I needed to be put in 2 week quarantine to make sure I'm not spreading the virus (in case I'm carrying it).I love that there are rules like that in Iceland to make everyone safer.
I'm on day 7 of my quarantine and I'm doing great. My grandad owns a little summer cabin in the woods (with a hot tup!) and he offered me and my boyfriend to stay there during our quarantine. It's very isolated and the nature is absolutely beautiful all around. My mom leaves us food supplies every other day in the driveway (No touching!) and my grandad drives up here everyday to feed the birds in his garden (while staying far, far away from us of-course to stay safe!) and waves to us though the windows. He knows every bird in the area and talks about them like they are his friends. It's very wholesome and it makes me forget for a while that there's a pandemic happening.

 
Anyways, Animal Crossing has allowed me to escape this stressful time as well so I recommend everyone to grab a copy if you want a little escape! You won't regret it ! 

I truly hope in a couple of months this will all be over and everything will be back to normal again. Until then, I hope you are staying safe and washing your hands ! ✨
