✧ August 2020 Calendar Sheet ✧

Hello my lovelies ! 

I've been wanting to do a Sailor Moon themed calendar sheet for ages now and I decided to use it for August because... IT'S MY BIRTHDAY MONTH! woo

I marked in my birthday so you won't forget haha. It's the last day of august, what a day. 

I LOVE the cute and magical aesthetic of Sailor Moon. It's so soft and dreamy. It honestly makes me so happy, so I enjoyed creating this calendar. I'm planing on taking the cats and the wand to make a sticker sheet soon ! Because, I just got myself an early birthday gift, A CRICUT EXPLORE! I've been wanting one for ages and I finally allowed myself to get it. I'm still figuring it out and hopefully I can do a sticker sheet successfully. It's such a fun machine but very complicated, I'm having a bit of a hard time getting the hang of it but I'm sure that after a few more youtube videos I'll master it! 

Anyways, updates from my life? I feel like I've literally done nothing this month, it flew by ! 

I went to the other side of the country for 2 weeks to stay with my boyfriends family. We had a cute vacation and it was very relaxing. Otherwise I'm still crashing at my parent's house, all my stuff is in their garage and I just feel like my whole life is on hold for now. I don't think I'll get an apartment soon unfortunately... The renting market is horrible! There are next to no apartments here in Iceland that allow pets, (I'm not parting with my dear Galileo!) and if they do allow pets, the price is similar for a condo in the middle of London! It's very depressing. 

I might as well just stay with my folks for a while and save up a good sum so I can buy my own place in a year or so. We'll see... 

My carpal tunnel update: I went to the GP early in July to ask for an appointment with a hand specialist. The GP agreed that I needed to see a specialist so I'm now on a waiting list... When can I see a specialist? No one knows! There's only one in Iceland and he's currently taking a summer break ! Oh I've missed living in a small country....

Other than that, I'm doing good. I feel like I'm getting my mojo back. I lost all desire to draw for myself when the virus hit in February, I've just been an anxious and depressed mess since then. It completely sucked out all my creativity and fire. But I'm building myself up and I've started to schedule a time for me to sit down and just draw for myself. 

Hopefully this will be a great month for us !
