Episode 129 sneak peek + midseason hiatus announcement
Added 2022-01-13 17:45:59 +0000 UTCHey everyone, with this sneak peek, I have an announcement I've not been looking forward to making. After episode 132 of CPC, I will be taking a midseason hiatus.
I'm so so sad to take a break here because it was not planned, and is a place I very much didn't want to stop at. I really wanted to barrel through this last long season without any stops 😢 But I do think it will be the best thing for the story.
Half of this hiatus will be getting some extra time to work on the final arc of CPC, as it is the hardest arc to draw by far, and also just making extra sure I am tying everything up in the story in the best way. But the other half is to be an active part of the incredible book publishing opportunity CPC is getting. I didn't think I'd ever be doing anything with a book until the series was over and I figured out how to make a kickstarter, but I'd never forgive myself if I didn't take this chance and do it as best I could with the amazing team I get to work and learn from. So that will involve mostly doing as many redraws of old panels (like the ones above ^^;;) as I can fit in, and working with the team to help however else I can.
Regarding the length of time, I'm sad to say it will be probably 3 - 4 months before we resume 😖 During that time, I'll be posting redraws (I think those should be allowed) and whatever other sneak peeks I'm allowed to. But, I also fully understand and almost encourage any halting of support here / otherwise! I can't thank you all enough for reading and supporting this story up until now!!! 💖But also, I welcome all hate comments and disappointment in the comments too!!! D:
