Luckily his was barely even a fall! xD At 31:07 I said "spew it" As if spew were actually a verb. Not sure if that is better or worse!!!

I watched this season only two months ago, so still quite fresh in my mind ๐ Edit: This season is awesome, right up there with the best. I know there's a few naysayers, but some people just have a problem with some contestants. Nish really turned many people off season 5, for example. Oh, u know Asim ๐ I see youโve been reminded. Apart from her own career, Liza Tarbuck is daughter of Jimmy Tarbuck, one of the great old school comedian, singer, actor, entertainer presenter personalities whose career lasted decades. (Still alive at 83!) 4:40 โWhat the hellโs custard?!โ Custard is a delicious dessert sauce (sugar, milk, cream, vanilla extract and egg yolk) you can eat warm or cold and drizzle over hot or cold cakes, fruit pies, crumbles, brownies etc! A fair substitute for a side of ice cream and far superior to single or double cream imo, such a yummy flavour, Iโm already salivating thinking about custard ๐คค Itโs simple enough to make at home, if you follow an online recipe, highly recommended. Nandi bushell, another creator, wrote a dis-track about her neighbour who constantly complained about her practising the drums. She was about 10y.o. at the time. If your neighbour complains you should do the equivalent with your platform and follow them around doing a reaction to their daily activities, mocking and laughing at them. But you're too nice for that I suppose. If you ever do, you have my full support. ๐คช๐ค

Mainly due to Liza Tarbuck who I find utterly unbearable and unfunny, but also I personally find this the most boring and unmemorable series overall. Still, watching it over again with someone who hasn't seen it before will be fun!

I was rewatching a compilation the other day and was like 'oh!! mandy's gonna react to this soon!!!'

As you said, "Oh I haven't picked a season winner" (or words to that effect), I thought.. just wait till you get Ep1 out of the way first, then judge. And that was exactly what you said straight after. Great minds... :)

2023-06-06 16:33:27 +0000 UTCWe actually use the imperial system quite a lot Mandy. We invented it of course (Imperial as in the British Empire). Our road signs are in miles, our speedometers in mph. We buy milk and beer in pints. We almost always talk about height in feet and inches, weight (of people) in stone (14lbs) and pounds, babies in pounds and ounces. But we also use metric quite a lot because we are a European country, so we buy other liquids such as water, wine, soda, and petrol in litres, weigh a lot of food in kg. It's all very messed up. It does lead to some silly situations like how we buy petrol in litres but measure fuel economy in miles/gallon. ๐ I think we might be completely metric soon, but it will require the last of the baby boomer generation to die off I think. ๐

Little Alex Horne has said that the reason they did the edible mask task is that "Task Master" is both an anagram and a spoonerism of "Mask Taster". Isn't that an amazing fact? He said they didn't point it out on the programme itself because viewers are smart enough to spot it. He said all this on the Taskmaster podcast. What do you make of that? Let's do an honest survey, who here spotted the word play and who is only hearing about it now for the first time? End.
