Hiya Mandy, Yeah, in the last episode we saw how much effort you put into not reacting to some frankly crude moments. ๐ ๐ถ Red door consistency across series ๐ if you asked someone. โWould you like to get in the front seat?โ, would you consider it rude if all they said was โNoโ? In some languages / cultures, thatโs perfectly fine. 2024-03-23 23:09:14 +0000 UTCThe main thing that keeps me watching these is that i can see overall, Mandy doesn't like this show.... and i completely understand her reasons for not liking it. It's a completely different culture and its the most extreme ladish side of it. being a Brit, I know women Mandy's age that paraphrase the lines from this show as heritage/homage to its comedy, but ive only every watched male Americans enjoy this show, not in the same way as us Brits, but mostly in awe of its audacity and how its acceptable in the UK (would probably get banned in 2024 in the UK tbf, but then what comedy from the past wouldnt?), when to us, there is nothing audacious about it. I honestly think that it can only be of parity comedy value to women that are brought up in this culture and era. I cant wait for Mandy to watch that first movie. OMG, she's gonna cringe like nothing on earth, while we all whale in laughter!
