I loved this show and understand why it is an absolute favorite! Hope you guys had as much fun as I did with it. Soon on to whatever comes next... I have to do some research.

It kind of breaks the fourth wall for me when everyone else is on top of their game. It's interesting you don't like theatre plays when you work in one! :D I must admit, I don't either. They always remind me of school plays because most of the actors over-act, over-project and over-articulate/enunciate.

'Safari videos not playing problem is likely to occur due to wrong network settings. Thus, resetting network settings can be a viable method for you. I suggest Friday Night Dinner or Father Ted. Purely based on how popular they were on other channels. Or if youโre going to tackle Alan Partridge you can either start with โKnowing Me Knowing Youโ, the first proper Patridge show, or you could start with โThe Day Todayโ, a 6 episode sketch show where the character begins on tv (which is very wacky and has someone youโll recognise from IT Crowd)

Basil's "Not hot enough!" followed by his pained yelp as he realised the plate was scalding hot always makes me laugh out loud - with all the chaos it can be the most random, almost throwaway bits that make me laugh the most! Haha! Been a pleasure watching this show with you, Mandy! Glad you have enjoyed it so much! Like a few others, I also recommend Only Fools and Horses. At 64 episodes, many of the later ones feature length, it is quite the prospect for your channel, but it's a wonderful show, a British classic, and I am sure you'd really enjoy it! ๐

Also on the boxset DVD, John Cleese said in an interview that he planned to do a 90 minute special of fawlty towers in the mid-90s where a now retired Basil and Sybil fly to Barcelona to visit Manuel and his family. Unfortunately they never got round to making it ๐ข Another show that went by too fast!
