2024-09-27 00:47:53 +0000 UTCAlso I actually do still have a video of a 2005 set he did, which has been effectively erased from t'internet, and he did the bit when I saw him, because there were only about 90 people there (he performed a huge audience in Glasgow the next day or the day after), but someone managed to get him booked on his travel up to Scotland in a very small town. Bill Bailey also has performed there.

I didn't misspell his name either, he had to change it to Jefferies because of the US requirement for actors something. Anyway, Legit is legitimately good :) it's also vaguely based on things he's done in the past (so watch the stand-up routine about taking an MD sufferer to a brothel first). But it really is a wonderful series. There was outrage over the first season, but the disabled community loved it and told everyone to fuck off, so there was a second season.

2024-09-25 14:50:56 +0000 UTCI met Jim Jeffries back in 2010 on his Alcoholocaust tour, he seemed a bit depressed to be honest (I don't blame him he was in Millom), still did a great set though. He asked me where he could get a curry :) His TV series Legit is really good by the way
