One particular area of the asset library I've been wanting to supplement for some time now has been the mountains, which haven't seen an update since part 3 over two years ago! In addition to 50+ rocks and boulders that are a bit more in line with my current output, the pack particularly focuses on introducing 3 new styles of cliff sides. All 3 styles are seamless, have multiple options for edge types, and come in 6 different sizes (ranging from 5ft > 30ft).
Altogether I've found the pack delivers a great deal of utility and am excited to see how each of the options now available here start to make their way into your work.
Mountainside Assets 4 Contains:
50+ new rocks and boulders, ranging from the size of a basketball to rock formations that might more aptly be described as cliffs themselves!
3 new styles of cliff faces, provided in dozens of seamless paths with variations on size and edging as well as in the form of preconstructed, drag+and+drop cliffs
3 seamless terrain squares making use of these same cliff textures, should you need to render a rockier ground floor in your next battle map
And of course, my 'example' map where I've ironically depicted a seashore scene because I felt the second style of cliff looked very reminiscent of beach rock and sand buildup. It's extra large to make use of the new larger cliff faces and arrives in its standard variants.
The Dungeondraft-ready conversion of Mountainside Assets 4 contains all of the rock assets as objects within the program alongside colorable counterparts. There are now dozens of new cliffside path options in accordance with the 3 new styles and their various size and edge variations. Lastly, I also included 3 of the seamless texture squares as new terrain options.
Enjoy!
