Furniture Assets Preferences

Hello all!

The collective reception to recent packs like Furniture Assets 7 and Royalty Assets 3 (aka fancy furniture) is that y'all are clamoring for interior props and furnishings. This has been reinforced by a clear preference for them as indicated in your responses to the still ongoing Annual Patron Survey in the assets section.

Frankly this is a little surprising to me as I feel that I've put out many series related to this as it is, but maybe this is a "if you build it they will come" scenario. SO, I would love some help from you all in clarifying my understanding of the situation so I can ensure I'm catering future iterations to what you all need.

Please indicate your position below by March 31st, thank you!

I need Planescape maps and assets, portals, gates, demiplanes, outsiders

Kurt Stoffer

Ah yes, planar assets 4, the 'flesh furniture' set

Venatus Maps

I would love to see assets relating to the far realms. Kind of like a madman made a house of flesh with furniture to match.

shrines/rugs for all the different gods

For general inspiration, check out the Shahnameh and poetry by Rumi (Afghanistan is not currently part of Iran, but it's been in and out of the Persian empire and Rumi wrote in Persian/Farsi).

Stephanie Washburn

For pre-Islamic Iranian empires, you should look for the Acaeminid Empire or the Sasanian Empire. The Safavid period is also pretty cool (but is not pre-Islamic).

Stephanie Washburn

Sounds like a great candidate for the Ancestral Assets series! Any particular kingdom, era, or city you think I should look at for inspiration?

Venatus Maps

I'm actually looking for stuff based on Iranian history or the Persian empire (not just "generally middle eastern"). But that's probably incredibly specific....

Stephanie Washburn

Nothing in particular. I've found it hard to get more authentic floor tile selections and perhaps more art deco stuff. Bathroom and kitchen fittings are a little more particular to this period too. Maybe that's it - an art deco pack could be fun.

Quentin Manley

All noted, thank you! If you should need them again in the future, I believe you'll find a knocked over mannequin in Destroyed 5 and walls of bone in Graveyard 3

Venatus Maps

Thinking of anything in particular that would be present in a 1920's pack that wouldn't be present in a "modern day" pack?

Venatus Maps

Because the moment my players see something like a table or a desk they want to jump on it and off of it during combat

William Bonar

Steampunk Interior Assets, Mannequin dolls that have fallen down (I can only ever find them standing up), wall decorations, machinery, prison doors / bars, asylum and medical facility furniture, catacomb shelving or walls of bones. I recently made a large, complex map of the Scion Fortress for a Steinhardt's campaign I'm running. Those were all the things I WISH I could have found. And that I could also make use of in the future.

AriesClockwork

You know what would be cool. Tables that and be folded like a square arch (maybe a M so that paper minis can stand on top of them

William Bonar

1920s assets for use in Call of Cthulhu scenarios, please.

Quentin Manley

Understood, appreciate it

Venatus Maps

Noted, thank you!

Venatus Maps

I run a lot of modern and fantasy campaigns, so furniture that could also go into a more modern space is awesome

Isaac Lewis

Would love some good gothic aristocrat/castle/mansion furniture that's not specifically vampire themed.

Baron Weaver

I am quite thankful for the wide variety of assets. I can usually find something if I need to add props to a scene. Or I need something so specific I'm not likely to find it.
