A possible new asset theme I've had in mind (and by far the most popular choice indicated in our Annual Patron Survey) that could prioritize making a variety of different asset types focused on a specific society of peoples in a typical D&D setting. An asset theme I'm dubbing Societal Assets.
This first iteration focuses on Dwarves, delivering an assortment of furniture, props, statues, decor, a new building style, and a full-page seamless floor texture. I like that the series' premise implicitly has me making a variety of types of assets that would otherwise normally slot into something more regimented (furniture assets 9, statue assets 6, etc.). Similar to our Adventure Assets series.
Would love to hear what you all may think of this set and the idea of the theme in general as well as if there's any particular 'society' of peoples you'd like me to place emphasis on next. As you might imagine I plan on dedicating the first handful of packs from this series to major societies that would likely feature in the majority of campaign settings, but as always am very open to suggestions and influence from you all.
The Dungeondraft-ready conversion of Societal Assets 1 contains all of the standard assets as objects within the pack as well as colorable counterparts of most of the available assets. There is a terrain option for the new Hex Tile texture and while the roof tool in DD doesn't support flat-topped roofing styles, I did include colorable versions of every building in the pack.
