I know that the ruins assets theme is among one of the more popular, so I didn't want to leave so much time between part 4 and 5 as I had in instances prior. I've found that this set meshes really nicely with the prior set as well as several like-minded pieces in the destroyed assets series (which you can see demonstrated for yourself in the example map).
Ruins Assets 5 Contains:
A wide array of ruined pieces of architecture that fit seamlessly with many of those found in part 4, further increasing the breadth of possibilities with those
A new lineup of less.. 'refined' ruins, intended to more closely resemble classic medieval ruins with exposed stonework, less fanciful architectural elements, and overall more rustic in appearance
While the series in general will surely continue to be most stone-oriented, I did include a bit of wooden bits embedded as well that continue to work nicely with others like them in other packs such as those in Destroyed Assets 6
A new seamless wall path with accompanying end cap options and optional pillars/supports to make it easy to cover up any blemishes that may occur during building
My example map of a fairly traditional set of ruins for a keep or outpost, made at a slightly larger scale than normal to accommodate my intended scope for the scene. Due to its nature I couldn't really do a true unfurnished version, so I instead opted for a nighttime variant!
The Dungeondraft-ready conversion of Ruins Assets 5 contains all of the standard assets as objects within the pack as well as a good majority of them with colorable counterparts. You'll also find two path options for the new ruined wall style: one with the supporting columns integrated and one without.
Enjoy!
