Checking In - Share Your Thoughts
Added 2016-03-01 13:35:38 +0000 UTCHi folks! So, it's the first of the month, almost 11 months after opening this little experiment. I feel like the response has been amazing, and I am so thankful for all of you incredible people! Which is why I want to check in and see what you guys think. Is there something I'm missing? Should I adjust the rewards? Please comment or message me with your thoughts-I can't promise I'll be able to do everything, but I really want to make this as satisfying for you guys as possible. Also, I've been thinking of adding a new tier, maybe something with a private live stream (not related to the monthly public live stream I'll be doing once I get to $200). Is that something you'd be interested in?

Hm - I think it might be a little hard to do one per piece, just because my pace is so slow. XD Buuut now you've got me thinking about doing a special piece where I embrace the chaos and tell everybody to just throw something in the barrel. I've heard that a Camel is a 'horse designed by a committee'. Perhaps it's time we build a camel. :D

A stream would be kind of neat for me because it wouldn't be as large of a time commitment as commissions would be (those usually take me more than 20 hours) , but it's still a chance for me to do some personal art for people. I would definitely have to limit the number (and I don't know exactly how that works), but if people are interested, I think it would be pretty fun!

On the lighter side of things I'm sort of sad that of late there haven't been other light sketches/alternate poses uploaded. The private stream idea sounds very cool but just brings me back to the 'what you think you're capable of'. And whether the extra money from it either gives you the extra time to commit or if it would just be added pressure. I've seen other patreons offer it but usually only to a limited number of patreons. I don't know if you can limit it so only one person can claim it a month then it has to be someone else after for instance.

I was thinking along the lines of one per piece, but then you might run into an issue where certain ideas take awhile to get implemented. Maybe not the best idea! I'll just echo Kibichan and say producing content at a consistent pace is awesome.

2016-03-03 03:23:19 +0000 UTCthis is all new to me too. Its my first parton. For any endeavor like this I think you have to produce content at a constant pace which IMo you have been doing. I think the rewards are fine where this is. I'll get back to you on this when I think about iti more.

2016-03-02 00:24:40 +0000 UTCI'm relatively new to this concept as well - but what if you have a tier that if met, you would add an element to your artwork relating to a patron? It could be the theme of the piece, maybe a certain color, small design in the background, etc.
