Love at First Height
Added 2018-12-01 02:06:10 +0000 UTCWhen Takai and I first met in person, she was flying in from the East Coast, and I was picking her up from the airport. I had a dozen of peach-colored roses I knew she'd like, and I was there extra-early standing in front of the checkpoint for Terminal A, wearing my nicest T-shirt and jeans (they were the pair without rips in the knees).
I'm waiting there, and the time comes, it passes, and finally I get a phone call. Takai's looking around, but she doesn't see me anywhere. She tells me her gate, and lo-and-behold, her plane parked on the other side of the airport in Terminal D. I proceeded to take off at a full sprint across the airport, running as fast as my stubbly little asthmatic legs butt could go.
As you can see, we did run into each other eventually. <3
Additional special thing for Patreon: This is the original pencil sketch I did *years* ago. There's still some things I like about it, but I'm really happy with how the updated one came out!

In the midst of all my pictures and cards we've saved between us through the years, I found my original boarding pass from the first time I flew to meet Chibi. <3
