She tries to keep track of where the general eye-level will be when she's considering dresses or skirts. Hence the petticoats. ^_^ (Although another foot or two and it might be a little hard to find a dress that fits at all - this one is actually supposed to be a floor-length dress on a normal person. XD )

Takai is pretty resistant to cold. In general, she just generates a ton of heat and doesn't get cold. ^_^
