REMINDER: Switching to Pay-Up-Front
Added 2018-01-30 03:02:36 +0000 UTCThis is sort of a notice to all those who follow me but aren't pledging - starting now, I'm switching over to Pay Up Front. This really only has any bearing on the first month you pledge, and if you join near the beginning of the month, there's really no difference. The issue that this could cause is that new patrons pledging near the end of the month will be billed once when they join, and once again at the end of the month.
The one and only reason for this is the completely ridiculous abundance of fraudulent bot accounts, and eliminating the tedious task of having to manually remove them all of the time.
This is not here to deter people from joining for a couple of weeks and then leaving. If you join up and decide this isn't where you want to spend your money this month, that's a-okay. I'm not trying to mess with people who are interested in trying it out and potentially changing their minds.
If you are a new patron who feels like the timing of your pledge screwed you over, or even if you're just unsatisfied with what I'm producing: Send me a message and I'll refund you, no problem.
I'm happy to do what it takes to make sure you guys enjoy the community we're making here, and I'd rather you leave on good terms than feeling like mean old Mr. Biscuit pulled the wool over your eyes.
