It's done at last! I had some trouble deciding on how much to deviate from the original on this, because the original contained a lot of choices I wouldn't make again (mostly the straight-on perspective, the angular lines)
You can see in the progress gif below how this took shape, including the first scrapped attempt!

At the end of the day, I thought the 3/4 view looked more interesting, so I went with it. There were bound to be changes from the original - if I don't change anything, why bother redrawing it?
