Glad to hear life's been going great for you! My life's admittedly very chaotic at the moment, but listening to this definitely helps put me in a better mindset.
Happy to help with merch stuff, if you like. :p Fanart keeps my creative energy going.
Nintendo events... YES. I went to SO many Nintendo events back in the day. Still have everything I've ever gotten from the majority of them. Especially the posters... Jeez Louise I have so many posters. I have them interspersed with my Nintendo Force posters on the walls of my game/stream room. I have many fond memories from those events... it's where I played Pokemon for the first time (and it's absolutely insane to think that this year will mark 10 years since I got into the series... i feel SO old help me), and I got to play demos of tons of games before they came out, mainly in the 3DS/Wii U era. Last big one I remember going to was in 2017 where there was an event at a Best Buy in the city that turned out to be the location of one of the qualifying rounds for the Nintendo World Championships 2017!...no, I did not even attempt to compete, but they had demos for Super Mario Odyssey and Metroid: Samus Returns off to the side, which were unreleased at the time. Ran around in Metro Kingdom for 10 minutes, took a probably cringe selfie with Mario, and got some great posters of the two games I still have to this day with the NWC 2017 logo on em. Amazing experience. Errr, but enough about that...
I only remember the events being advertised on the News section of the Nintendo website, for the most part. I check the website every now and again these days but I don't think I've seen anything about them. If any of you hear about one, definitely let me know! I really enjoyed Nintendo events, I wasn't really the most social person in those days either and they helped me open up and realize my hobbies weren't so weird. :')
The Wii and Wii U have really nice UI design... I already explained my thoughts about them in a reply to your Tweet but the vibes are great. Therapeutic, even.
I might not be nostalgic for the SNES, but man I've been enjoying SNES RPGs. Even though I'm an RPG guy, there's so many classic RPGs I still need to experience. Currently playing Super Mario RPG, the writing is fantastic. As always, big fan of both the original and remake of LIVE A LIVE, but you didn't need me to tell you that. Look forward to you trying it on stream!
Well, that's all from me this time. Looking forward to the Q&A!
