CONTRIBUTE TO THE NEXT AESTHENO DAYCLUB ★

Hi everyone!! Thank you all so much so far for the support. I can't believe this page has only been up for something like a week and I already have so many of you here! It means the world <3

As you all know, Feeding Demons will be released in less than a week now (!!!) on Friday 19th. Of course if you haven't presaved it yet then you can do so at http://aesthenoverse.com

I have content ready to show you guys with behind the scenes from working on the song, but I don't want to share that until the song has actually been released. However, I don't want to leave you all hanging until then, so I think it's time to start advance requests for the Aestheno Dayclub!!

One of your perks of being a ☆☆- (or above) Member is that you get the opportunity to recommend songs to be added to my DJ playlists. I don't want this to be a formal thing where you can only recommend on X date of Y month at Z time, but I also know that people aren't likely to randomly DM me with songs. So before I open this up, let me say that you are welcome to post recommendations in the Patrons channel of my Discord server at any time!

Now that's out the way, I want to invite you all to recommend me music that you think would bang at the Aestheno Dayclub!! For some guidance, let me explain to you guys how I organise my DJ playlists, so that you don't request some song or genre that simply is never going to get played:

ELECTRO AND BASS HOUSE: This is the playlist you hear me play the vast majority of the time, That heavy, gritty, bassy kind of house music that I lean towards the most heavily.

HOUSE: Standard house music. Think house organs, plonky basslines, lots of high end percussion, and simplistic, repetitive vocals. You can imagine being at a pool party when this playlist is playing.

TECH HOUSE: Very modern style house music. Think Fred again.. etc. I usually throw stutter house and really any other kind of house music that doesn't directly fit the other playlists in there.

SLAP HOUSE: The sound of 2018, if I had to put my finger on it. Very staccato basslines that virtually all sound the same yet sound addictive nonetheless. Think Dynoro.

PROGRESSIVE HOUSE: Analogue synths, big melodic saws and dramatic melodies. deadmau5 in a nutshell.

DOWNTEMPO: Anything sub-100bpm. I haven't done a set using this playlist yet but I'm slowly building it.

MIDTEMPO: Anything between 101 bpm and 120bpm. Again, not yet done a set with this but I'm building it. It's a pretty popular genre right now. For the VALORANT fans amongst you you'll be familiar with Grabbitz and maybe One True God, both of whom are heavy hitters in this genre.

TECHNO: Does it need explaining?

MELODIC TECHNO: Minimal, melodic vibes. Usually the more lowkey sets I've done. Lots of French touch artists in there currently as, for some reason, the French just produce the most sublime music in this genre.

MAIN STAGE: 2013 golden era EDM. Avicii, Dzeko & Torres, Galantis, that kind of vibe.

MELBOURNE BOUNCE: One of my favourite EDM genres ever but you never hear anyone talk about it. The younger sister to big room house, very bouncy and designed for festival stages. Think Brynny.

TRANCE: I mean, it's trance.

PSYTRANCE: Not sure Twitch is ready for the filth of psytrance but we may try it properly one day. Think Infected Mushroom and the most orgasmic gated basslines.

DUBSTEP: This basically includes any 140bpm half time song. It does not have to be any one specific subgenre of dubstep (melodic, UK, brostep, etc), it just has to fit the bpm/half-time rule.

With these guides of what I'm looking for, hopefully you guys will have some good tunes that fit in somewhere! If you're not sure where a song may fit in, feel free to send it anyway, as long as it's under the EDM umbrella, and I'm sure I can find some home for it somewhere.
