So, june 28th, I was approached by a representative for this anime (which is now on TV, crunchyroll, basically everywhere u watch anime), where they asked me if I'd be interested in singing the opening.
However, I was really busy with other projects and I get asked to sing on things several times a week and it's never been an established manga about to release an actual anime before, so I read it and forgot about it, just sorta added it to the pile of things to look over when I had more time later on some other day.
Then 3 weeks later I still hadn't gone around to check up on offers to sing in or star in stuff and I got one more email from the anime studio saying they needed an answer before the weekend. LUCKILY I did a quick google search and realized holy shit this is a big franchise and the manga's sold really well in Japan. Since then I've mailed back and forth with them 110 different emails back and forth, both to agree on terms and mixes, how I sing stuff etc. And yesterday was the release day where episode 1 came out, and now I have finally sung an opening to a TV anime, in Japanese nontheless! I'm really excited and I hope you like the song. The full version is on spotify etc along with the instrumental, but I don't own the rights to the song so I can't distribute it here.
