WHAT HAPPENED WITH NAOTA’S DAD? WHY WAS THERE A ROBOT DUPLICATE OF HIM? THAT WAS WHY THERE WAS A PLUG COMING OUT OF HIS BUTT AS HE MASSAGED HARUKO? WHAT THE FUCK
And Haruko was the one who called down the bomb just so she could set up a life lesson for Naota? I wasn’t expecting her to be THAT much of a terrible person. I thought she was going to wind up being weird but vaguely heroic, but instead she’s willing to gamble the lives of everyone in that city for a life lesson? Oof.
Two thirds of the way through the series and it just keeps getting weirder. I’m sure it’s going to keep doing so; episode five is going to be WILD at this rate.
