Kino's Journey Episode 7 Part 2!

All the pieces were there for a satisfying story, but something about these past couple episodes doesn’t quite do it for me.  It all feels kind of disjointed, like things just sort of happened in an order rather than being all tied together.  I’m also a little unsettled by Kino’s new law; if it’s followed, Kino will be responsible for a LOT of death, fairly directly.  It’s a good bit of moral grayness for the character, though--I think it’s good unsettling, if a fairly unsubtle piece of social commentary.

That’ll be it for Kino’s Journey for tonight!  I may do a liveblog of Fooly Cooly tonight to earn some money for Christmas shopping, but I may just call it an evening here.

An update about anxiety stuff: I’m still waiting on the referral to therapy, but I took my second dose of my new anti-anxiety medicine today (I tested it out on Thursday of last week) and it’s helped quite a bit.  I think I need a higher dose to be truly effective (my doctor started me on a low dose, which is just good sense) but I’ll be taking a dose of this on liveblog days going forwards.  I see my doctor again in two weeks to follow up on this; I’ll probably ask to increase the dose, but I’m not going to alter my habits of taking it until then.

Up next content-wise is some Patron Pick games I’ll be streaming; tomorrow I’ll be streaming the end of Zero Escape: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors (and possibly starting the next game in the series if there’s time left over), and on Wednesday I’ll be continuing Outer Wilds for another patron.  We’ll see what happens Thursday and Friday, between streaming and me wanting to do a blog day early in the month.
