Exactly, I have to make a mix of both versions actually, the first image shows very fine details and that's why it looks blurry in some places, it's too small for the denoiser to pick up the details from far and it just blurs everything. While the second version is much less detailed and focuses more on the big details of the skin, rather than the micro wrinkles and pores. But then the second ones is pretty unimpressive in close-ups. That's why I'm still looking into what I can do to improve this 😊

I can see the improvement with what you have done and understand why. Purely subjective but perhaps a little too far. For example take the two 'shines' to the left of the image on the boys arm and just below the arm on the torso. In the first iteration the torso reflection, looks about where you want it maybe a touch more, whereas the arm is just a hint of shiny. In the second iteration the arm is much improved, when it comes to texturing the perspiration, the torso I passes the point where the sweat would be beading and running, and therefore appears to be some unintended graphical distortion. Overall I do think it is an improvement, but perhaps when very sweaty, but not dripping in sweat you may need to selectively adjust the intensity?

I like the implication that they were busy doing something that got them both all sweaty. (Does that make me a perv? I hope so...!) :D
