Yea, anaglyph doesn't even work that well depending on the precise colors you use, and if the picture has compression artifacts it can ruin the effect. If you need glasses, yea 😏

Yup, they worked for me on the angel. That's why I thought I'd mention 'em. :) I'm very hit-and-miss with the cross-eyed thing. Might be a function of age as the muscles atrophy a bit. If I can't get a pic to "work" by de-aligning my eyes one day, I can come back to the same pic the next day and get the image on the first try. It's worth it to see the pic in proper color. Anaglyph works so well with B/W pics, but wrecking the color of an image defeats the purpose of bothering with 3D. Anyway...I see the web site I quoted in my previous msg is largely outdated. But that river-named retailer still sells them, so that's maybe the best place to turn for them.

Well are you sure they work for crossing your eyes, and not for making them parallel instead? Because I'll only make cross style images, since it's way easier to see with just your eyes, but lately i've heard of many people who can't see them. I wonder how those people look at thing up close, because that's exactly the same thing for the eyes 🤷

I am not affiliated with these people, but www.loreo.com sells a cardboard, fold-away viewer for less than $10 that helps me a lot when my eyes aren't willing to do the cross-eyed thing. They sell their "Pixi 3D Viewer" on an on-line retailer named after everyone's favorite river in South America (the one that, judged on outflow volume, is the largest in the world...hint-hint..) With a variety of artists using this method for full-color 3D, one of these things has been worth the investment for me. Being small and quickly fold-able and stow-able is also very handy. Wing placement could use some work, but those legs and what's between 'em look SO inviting in 3D.... :D

The bigger the screen, the more you'll need to cross your eyes, and I can tell you it can quickly hurt both your eyes and your head :/

It works pretty well, though I'm doing it on my phone so it's a bit small for seeing detail. Might be a little easier if the overall image were a little brighter. Will try on my computer with a bigger screen later

It's really not that hard, don't worry. It's also way easier than having the two images inverted, because then you have to make your eyes parallel, and THIS is pretty hard.

I wish I could cross my eyes like that xD Sadly my eyes won't focus on anything when I try it and I get dizzy after some time. But it still looks interesting! I also found some tutorials on how to view these kind of pictures, hopefully it'll work some day ^^
