The goal's been met! With the Patreon campaign reaching the $1,000.00 a month threshold, Witch Warp is going into production! Go team!

Thanks everyone. It means so much to have this kind of wind at my back! I've begun making the script and thumbnails for upcoming pages. I estimate that the comic will launch in a few months, depending on my other responsibilities, staving off the Anti-Muse (weakened but never dead), and finishing my current slate of commissioned work (pictures incoming). If you know my home situation, my schedule is going to be largely tentative as needs be, but at least now the ground is firm enough to kick off from!

I'm aiming for this to be a more orderly affair than Zebra Girl was, so I'm building the framework of the comic well beforehand. The story will be structured in chapters, with a beginning, middle, and end laid out in advance, as opposed to an ongoing narrative meandering through the years like a wilful balloon dragging me hither and yon by the wrist before I finally dig my feet into the soil. It worked then, but I gotta take a different approach now that I'm a wizened, decrepit old man.

You know, I've been frustrated about my slow pace, but now I have to admit that taking this time has been great for the health of the project. More and more it's taken on a life of its own, apart from Zebra Girl. I can't wait.
