Next Cosplay: Ciri!
Added 2016-04-21 22:41:34 +0000 UTCI'm so excited to announce my next cosplay, which I am making for a Witcher 3 group for Denver Comic Con 2016: Ciri!
I was lucky enough to be invited to this group by Jesse and Laura of Jessolaurus Rex, some of my favorite cosplayers on the planet, who will be cosplaying Yennifer and Geralt, respectively. There are a lot of other talented cosplayers in the group, too, so I can't wait until you get to see us all together!
I've already been planning and gathering materials for this, so you should start seeing progress photos pretty much immediately. This is a very detailed costume (17 different pieces, by my count!) and I have a pretty short time to do it in, so cross your fingers for me. ;)
Have you guys played any of The Witcher games? Wild Hunt is the first one I've played, and I'm really into it! It's such a well fleshed-out world, which is so important for me to get into a game.
(SIDE NOTE: I was wrong about pledge payments — turns out your pledge for Silk will come out of your account at the end of the month! So be prepared for that.)

Nah I haven't, but ive heard the game does an incredible job of capturing the essence of the books. So the books must be even more fleshed out in its lore etc. A Polish Lord of the Rings!

2016-04-23 01:24:42 +0000 UTCI knew this was next! Because I'm psychic!... Witcher 3 is a like a completely different game from the original and defo alot more fleshed out. It's based on a series of Polish books from many moons ago. You will be plowing amazing as Ciri!
