2020-10-13 15:54:21 +0000 UTCFor me, that's part of it, but also the voice in which is often sung (esp. the original) that just pushes it over the edge. I will agree that playing a character that is different can be quite interesting. I was roped into being in a play earlier this year where I had to play an arrogant, power-hungry Englishman who is verbally and physically abusive. That took a lot because I am generally soft spoken, and would never hit anyone. I kept finding myself apologizing after each part or making a silly face at the end of a sequence just to put the other person at ease.
