Winter and the Crones and new things to come!

Hello my lovelies,

I had an amazing holiday down south where there is already plenty of snow here in New Zealand. I'm fortunate to live in such a beautiful country, and this winter wonderland was a perfect place to get inspiration for the next Crones book, the Crone of Burning Shadows. I'm now over half way through the first draft!

The Myrtlewood Crones is a winter series, because winter is associated with cronehood - a time of deep reflection and wisdom.

The mountains provided beautiful inspiration in their glorious majesty!

I even got to have one of the most magnifiscent experiences of my life - a lakeside sauna with a view with wonderful friends and then jumping into this stunning lake:

I'm so happy to be making good progress on this Crones book.

I can't wait to share this new book with you. It's not due out until January but depending on how all the drafting and editing goes it might be ready a bit sooner. It's up on pre-order on Amazon in ebook form (and paperback and hardback will be up closer to publication time) but the Haversham tier and above will get it as a complimentary ebook before it comes out.

I'm also making great progress on other projects including Gillian's story which I shared a sneak peek of recently. I'm working with my designers on a cover for this right now.

For those of you who are wondering, I am planning on writing another Myrtlewood Mysteries book after these projects, probably starting it towards the end of this year - it will be themed on the Spring Equinox and so of course there will be fae!

I have a new side project that came to me in a wave of inspiration because I just love following the magical whims of creativity and Awen (flowing spirit)...

I was relaxing in the bath, contemplating how a new friend has been struggling with not liking herself very much and I thought of all the things I wanted to say to her - how I've actively taught myself self-love for twenty years. I'd been working on recording videos for the course to go deeper into Awakening the Wild Witch and I was inspired to create a shorter course just focussed on the very important topic of the magic of self love! And now I'm creating a short book to go with it because I really do love this magical work I'm doing. I'm so blessed to be able to do it full time, and as many people in my life know, my sacred work (including writing my novels) is so close to who I am as a person, that I work a lot of the time and looking after myself is a big part of this work!
