I posted this everywhere yesterday, but just in case you missed it — here's the first official Zoya photo! I shot these on a black backdrop and I've been experimenting with neon effects to spice up the images. There should be at least a few more from this set over the next few weeks!
I'm SO happy with how this costume came out, and I put it together really fast! The bodysuit was made in one ten-hour marathon sewing session, and the rest of the accessories probably took around six or eight hours spread out over the next few days. All told, it was a pretty speedy build, and yet it's one of the neatest and most sturdily constructed costumes I've made.
Thanks to some opaque dance tights, it actually feels very modest, and I'm incredibly comfortable in it! The only thing that bugged me during my shoot was that the hat was a little tight, which could've been due to the way I did my hair under the wig cap, but I'll probably still adjust that a little before DragonCon because I plan on wearing this all day!
