These two episodes were both soooooo good! I can't believe the Eclipsa cliffhanger in episode A and episode B was so well written. I'm always so impressed by how much emotion these writers manage to squeeze into 11 minute episodes.

2019-11-30 01:38:13 +0000 UTCAll right, I’m back home, with good internet, so I can finally watch this! Had a great Thanksgiving vacation with my extended family! But, on to the episodes! The “Baby” episode was interesting. While we did see throughout the episode that Star was struggling with casting spells, the tree spell at the end was amazing, and really shows what she is capable of when she puts her heart into it. It was interesting at the end, when Baby told Star’s mom that Star was even more powerful than her. I can’t wait to see more of what Star can do! And I definitely want to learn more about Eclipsa. Baby herself was… creepy. Even when she was being nice and cute, I was unsettled, since I was sure her personality would shift at some point. And yeah, it was kind of scary when she suddenly got angry, especially when she yelled at Marco. “Running With Scissors” was a lot of fun, and opened up some interesting possibilities for the future. First, I just want to say, Hekapoo (great name, BTW) was awesome. I really hope we see a lot more of her, because I love her personality, voice, and design. I broke up laughing when adult Marco showed up! His appearance and voice, and especially Star’s reaction to him, were hilarious. And that dragon-cycle… I want one! It was really cool that he was willing to go to such lengths to get those scissors back. I am interested to see what they do with Marco having to re-adjust to the world, after having been absent from it for 16 years (to him, at least). I hope that’s a plot point that continues into future episodes, because it’s really interesting. But if not, oh well. Favourite Quotes: “Nope, nope, noope, nopenope, nuuhuhuh-ooooope! Nopenope.
