Jester's mom has got it going on...
Added 2018-09-21 19:57:21 +0000 UTCOKAY, so you guys know I've been working on a "Ruby of the Sea" song behind the scenes, trying to squeeze it in around all my other time-sensitive projects, desperately hoping to get it out while her character is still relevant on the show.
When I started thinking about a music video, I just felt like it was impossible. I was almost ready to cave and just release it without a music video, when it occurred to me to see if any Ruby of the Sea cosplayers wanted to shoot some footage and be featured in the video, taking some of the pressure off me and giving me the opportunity to showcase a talented cosplayer in my video.
As luck would have it, one of my amazing Patrons, Starleigh, had just decided to put together a Ruby of the Sea cosplay — so she kicked it into high gear and put this costume together in like 3 days or something!?! I don't have the final audio track quite yet (I should have it by Monday) and I'll still need to shoot a little footage of my own, but I just couldn't wait to show off this beautiful cosplay!! Make sure to follow Starleigh on her social media; I'm sure her amazing cosplays will be more than enough to tide you over until the video is done (hopefully by next weekend!)
