Bye, Denver Comic Con!

This weekend was my first time guesting at Denver Comic Con — and actually, my first time guesting at any con this size!! DCC is massive (~120k attendees!!) and while I've been attending it for many years, guesting was a totally different animal.

As you can see in the above photo, Ginny Liz came to visit and I got to hang out with her all weekend! (We're also working on some little collaborative projects this week before she has to leave — keep an eye out for those!)

On day one I wore Kaylee, because I was debuting my new Firefly music video at a panel! This costume is comfortable but not terribly exciting, unfortunately. I still need to do a photoshoot with it! I nabbed some stills during music video filming, but I'd like to do something a little more involved.

Jesse and Laura of Jessolaurus Rex came and hung out with me, though, so that was a highlight!

Saturday was Arya day, and I ran into these amazing Stark sisters!!

I didn't get much sleep Thursday night, and got only slightly more Friday night, so Saturday was a struggle. I was pretty dead on my feet by the end of the day, when I got to help judge the costume contest.

My parents came on Saturday as Ned and Catelyn!! We still have a little work to do on these costumes, but we'll arrange a little family photoshoot soon.

Sunday was Officer Jenny! I got to arrest a bunch of people, including Jesse of Jessolaurus Rex as Gaston!

My friend Wayne even came as Brock, complete with heart-eye sunglasses!!

And of course, I had to do a hat swap — Laura of Jessolaurus Rex did me the honor in her Adventures in Babysitting cosplay!

It was a crazy and wonderful weekend, and while I had a lovely time, now I want to sleep for ten years!! Keep your eyes peeled for a ton of stuff coming up this week, now that the Firefly video and the convention are behind me.
