SVTFOE S03 E21 Full Length Reaction

As always, I just love reading your thoughts on each episode because you pay such close attention to detail! (Plus I think your love of Starco is equally matched to mine and I appreciate that hahaha). I also keep meaning to tell you that I HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN ABOUT YOUR FICS! I’m working on something special for the channel that has taken up a lot of my quarantine time, but as soon as I’m finished with that I need to catch up!

I hope you know just how much I appreciate you listing your favorite quotes from each episode because it gives me a chance to experience most of my favorites all over again too! “This is dumb. This world is dumb.” was a personal favorite of mine from this episode 🤣 Seeing and hearing Moon act so differently and carefree from her normal self was cracking me up!

So I decided to combine my thoughts since it was a double header into a single extra long comment. These two episodes were definitely up there in terms of shear drama and amount of revelations. I loved the heartfelt confession from Marco to Tom in the face of what probably felt like certain death that he kissed Star. Very grown up of Marco to do that and I laugh every single time when he peaces out like, immediately. Everything about the Marknificent Seven was pretty funny. Talon Raventalon kills me every time he's on the screen. The dual scenes cutting back and forth between Star's search for her mom and Mark and Company's ultimately futile efforts to buy time for her were a great way to build the tension. But the piece de la resistance had to be the flinal 7 minutes where Star fights Meteora and the subsequent fallout there of. I loved how much attention they lavished on the animation in that sequence, with all of Star's souped up spells and Meteora just trashing the castle as they battle, realy good art direction there. But wow, that Eclipsa scene. Even on what's probably my 4-5th re-watch that scene is still incredibly powerful. She was forced to basically kill her own daughter, and when you think about how monstrous difficult that must be for a character who had been separated from her daughter and family for hundreds of years to have to go through with that, it really paints a grim scene. It's also a great little character arc for her as only two episodes previously we saw her potentially doom the entire kingdom when she attacked Moon and inadvertently or deliberately allowed Meteora to win that fight. All in all, it was a great way to wrap up season 3!

WOW… That was quite the season finale! The fight between Star & Meteora was awesome, and I loved how Eclipsa finally stopped Meteora by making her a baby again. Hopefully she can raise her properly this time, along with… um… Globgor. Lol, Glossaryk finally speaking again, and revealing what he was trying to tell her the whole time was hilarious! I liked Star both deciding to fully embrace the role as Queen, as well as giving it up to Eclipsa. I’m really interested to see where things go from here, now that Eclipsa & Globgor are together again, with a newly born Meteora, and Star no longer has her wand. What’s gonna happen to the kingdom? There’s also the question of Moon. Star still needs to find her. Again, the interactions between the Marcnificent 7 (or 5 rather) were great. I especially loved Kelly & Tad talking about their relationship problems in the middle of a battle, lol. And Tad’s expressions there were hilarious.
