A couple of cute episodes that i feel are a nice break after the spiraling tension of the last two. Holiday Spelltacular was cute, but Stump Day really stole the show here. Loved the outfits, loved the holiday brawl, and I loved the subtle clues through the very beginning of the episode that the "Stump" is not a benevolent giver of gifts like Santa, but rather a vengeful spirit that punishes the wicked. Luckily, things worked out in the end and they stalled enough to survive while learning a valuable lesson about togetherness. I physically laughed out loud when River said "Honey, it's a stump..." like he couldnt believe she had taken the story literally. Perhaps Star made it real? It wouldn't be the first time she's done things without knowing and since her faith in the "stump" is so strong, it wouldnt be too much of a stretch to assume that perhaps her magical abilities created it inadvertently. Either way, cute and funny and an all around great episdoe!

Honestly… I don’t really know if I have much more to say about it. It was just really funny, lol. Every other minute was a hilarious line or exchange. Needless to say, most of my favourite quotes this time are from that episode. Holiday Special was interesting and fun. I believe this is only the second time we’ve been inside the wand (at least, for a whole episode). I like the dynamic between Spider and the rest of the spells. He’s kind of like the Ron Weasley of the spells – He’s far from the most powerful or useful, but as one of them says in this episode, he’s the glue that holds them all together. Without him, who knows what Star’s wand would do. Like you said, it’s also cool, seeing how the world inside the wand expands as Star uses more spells. And yeah, the sheer contrast between Seeing Eye and the rest of them was funny. It makes sense though, since that was one of Eclipsa’s spells, and not Star’s.
