Oh thanks! Chapter 9 is almost done! this one's huge I'm over 30k words and probably another 6-7 before its all wrapped up! But two words... "Masquerade Ball" is all I will reveal for now!

2020-03-27 01:07:27 +0000 UTCBam U Pati was pretty forgettable as far as filler episodes go, but man oh man Tough Love was a solid episodes. I love the chemistry between Moon and Eclipsa. The make for such an entertaining double act where Moon's the "Straight Man" to Eclipsa's Comic Relief. Some great comedy in the early part of the episdoe gradually morphing into a powerfully dramatic scene where Eclipsa shows just how far she'll go to protect a daughter that doesn't seem like she deserves it. Another thing I want to mention is the sound design for this episode and specifically the sound right after Metoera blasts moon. You mentioned how well animated it was, but the sound is also fantastic. I've had the experience of a gun shot going off indoors with no ear protection on and the way the sound just drops out of the world accompanied by that high pitched ringing is so spot on for what you experience after an explosion its really phenomenal. All in all a fantastic B episode, but of course the main event is next week. Can't wait to see your reaction to those two fantastic episodes!
