I'm curious to see what season 2 will be like... Any predictions?

Oh my gosh I didn't even NOTICE Alric's essay was on Alice in Wonderland! Holy crap, it's all coming together now! That is so cool. Owen Dennis did such a great job taking inspiration from AIW without making it obvious. I love it. Thanks for sharing that detail I missed!

I appreciate each for what they have to bring to the table, but I can see why IT wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea. If you figure out what's missing, let me know! I'd love to hear your thoughts.

I love all the clever details of this series - like Alric’s school essay on “Alice in Wonderland” — I didn’t make that connection with Tulip’s journey and Alice until I saw that (both even troubled by a mysterious cat!). Kate Mulgrew was the perfect choice to voice the cat. One of my favorite details in the series was in the cat’s car with that creepy painting of the white tiger as Manet’s “Olympia” (itself a very creepy painting).

I don't dislike this show, but it just isn't grabbing me the way YJ, GF and SVTFOE did by the end of their first seasons. I can't put my finger on what it's missing for me.
