Bojack Horseman 'Stupid Piece of S***' Full Length Rewatch Reaction

I used an open source AI program called Stable Diffusion it's totally free everyone can just download it and use it to create art...I started to get into it to use it to create artwork for my upcoming youtube channel because first of all it's pretty cool technology and also since I'm not an artist in any way it's a cool way to create free artwork to use without having to pay royalties especially if you have really specific motives in mind :) It's not just for cartoons or anime either you can make photorealistic landscapes or whatever you can imagine really and it's mindboggling how fast those programs are getting better! You can even draw like super basic stickfigure pictures or whatever put it into the program to show the AI roughly what poses or compositions you want and the AI turns it into a painting or whatever you can even tell it to make it a watercolor painting or drawn with charcoal or anything really it's insane. 😁

I just wanted to hop on here and thank each and every one of you for your vulnerable comments and for sharing your inner thoughts and struggles with me. I don't take it lightly and I think it's so cool that a cartoon opens up this kind of dialogue. It just shows what a powerful show BoJack really is.

How do you like my new thumbnail? 😄 I made it with artificial intelligence on my computer not a single stroke of this was drawn by anyone. Actually I made some of you as well 😁 I took a screenshot from your Bojack video fed it into the AI used a lot of descriptors and tried to get it to make an anime Alycia hehe. None of them are perfect but I think a lot of them are pretty cute and cool...the one with the like salmon colored top is my favorite 😁 What a shame it didn't get the mole right tehee https://imgur.com/a/WNlfwDz Please excuse the translucent black top the AI took some liberties lol but I still liked the picture aside from that so I included it 😁 I spent waaay too much time on this lol but it was a fun little distraction and I'm getting better at making the AI do pretty much what I want to a point, and while these pictures might not look super impressive it actually took a whole bunch of tinkering to get them to that point. 😉 None of them are edited btw the point was to just use the AI alone, mistakes and all.

Bojack's inner monologue has been standard for my life for most of my life. I don't want to tell my life story. The cliff notes version is when I turned 19I was orphaned by my mother's death, she was rather well to due and my stepfather was an ADA, like number 1 ADA when my mother died it was within minutes he had us sign documents and her will was mysteriously missing. He re remarried 7 months to the day later.

This show has too many characters to just have a single favorite. One of the things about this episode, let alone The whole series, has kind of shown me how I would have turned out if I didn’t stop and ask for some help. That and season 4 is one of my favorite seasons. I do agree with you on how bad Bojack’s upbringing was, and how that did affect a few of his choices and behaviors, I think it’s our boy Todd who summed it up perfectly in S3 EP10. “You can’t keep doing this! You can’t keep doing shitty things and then feel bad about yourself, like that makes it okay! You NEED TO be BETTER!” Even though I have been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD, it’s still an ongoing adjustment. Only being diagnosed with it little over a year ago, it’s a late in life diagnosis that has brought both solutions and a myriad of new challenges. One of them being that I am starting to have anxiety and become depressed more easily. Where, I’m no doctor here mind you, I was too distracted to be really affected by either. Granted, it’s to do more with the work I want to do, and the things I have to do to get that work done, there’s some things that wouldn’t normally affect me that are starting to, and vice versa. Either a rude comment, a joke, or an friendly or hostile insult, can either make or ruin my days. (Even though my mother isn’t as bad as Bojack’s, she has gone out of her way at times to purposely hurt, and ridicule my work and the way I live my life. I get that she’s worried, as all mothers are to a certain degree, but if she’s yelling at me for not cleaning my place since she happened to drop by, unannounced, with a key copy of a key that I did not give her permission to make, knowing full well that I worked sixty plus hours and it’s my only day off and I would be sleeping, would remind me that my grandparents or her and my father “didn’t raise you like this”. Or how I’m “disrespecting” her by not showing her that I’m an adult. Etc. Even though that’s a combination of a few things that actually happened and have been said, I’m mostly on my own now, and have been overall been too busy to care what she says. Like water off a duck’s back.) (Damn that got real…lol) The entire inner “YPOS” monologue is, in a sense, what we all feel even though everyone’s is different, it is always something we can never tune out. Only turn the volume down. I’m almost thirty years old, and have always had “YPOS” moments. More so this year as it comes to a close it’s starting to get a little louder. For my writing work (basically for any kind of work I want to do, my friendships, relationships, etc. lol): You piece of shit. You’re buying another notebook? Don’t! You’re not going to use it. And if you do it’s going to be for an idea that you’re going to be all excited about, but when you start to write it, you’re going to get bored! You piece of shit! You told your friends and family who have been waiting for you to do something with your life…What are you going to tell her? That one person who matters the most to you? Huh? She can’t even be bothered to read the things you do send her, even though you see her and think about her everyday!… Don’t ever feel like you can’t share anything with us. Even though your boundaries are earned and yours alone, you don’t have to think you’re sharing too much either of us. Even though it’s something I’ve said multiple times, and maybe I’m not the first or the last, but we’re here if you need to talk. Even though we have different schedules, (it’s been a year since dweeb movie night…let that sink in…lol) we’re here. I’m here.

Can I just say that I love you a little bit more now because you chose that episode?! 😅 It would have been easy to just go for a funnier more feel good episode of Bojack but you went with one that had an impact on you and I totally relate and definitely respect and applaud the choice. I've struggled with depression ever since I was like around 14 and while my inner monologue doesn't sound exactly like that it's very close in tone and direction. It's probably the closest depiction of depression and procrastination/avoidance followed by self-flagellation that I've seen anywhere especially because you get to listen to what he's going through. But aside from that this show does such a great job at showing you the life of people and especially Bojack with all the bumps and bruises that people rarely get to see in real life Bojack is such a dick sometimes and if you would only know him from those interactions it would be easy to just hate him but because you see all the struggles and all of the "behind the scenes" things it turns him into a three dimensional character who is totally flawed but it's way easier to forgive him for some of the things he does even if you don't condone them. And who isn't am I right? 😆 Actually watching this show made me reflect and be introspective about a number of things in my own life. For example at first I REALLY hated Mister Peanutbutter...I hated him and he creeped me out until I thought about it and I was like this is weird how damaged am I that I hate a guy for being "too cheerful and too nice", but I realized that both in my personal life and in stories you hear in the news that a lot of the time people who act like that just overcompensate for something either they act super happy and nice because they're actually deeply sad and lonely and either can't or won't admit it to other people or because they're hiding some dark shit and they think by acting super nice and proper and happy that that keeps their secret safe...look at Bill Cosby he was like the posterchild for the "Good guy dad" on TV and he looked down on other comedians for swearing in their act or talking about sex and stuff when in reality he was the biggest creepiest piece of shit all along. So when I see someone who acts like the sun shines out of their every orifice my first instinct was to think "What are you hiding you scumbag" 😂 And it took me questioning my hatred for Mister Peanutbutter to realize ok maybe calm down on this a little bit lol. I mean I still have that thought but my inner voice goes "Remember Mister Peanutbutter" and then I go "oh yeah ok let's tone down the suspicious hatred a little bit" lol. And once I had this inner reflection I loved Mister Peanutbutter because there's just no malicious bone in his body. 😁 But yeah it is still true that I find it easier to trust openly flawed people than someone who seems like a perfect paragon of virtue! Sooo yea that's MY share of the week lol...don't think I've ever spoken about this with anyone let alone that Bojack Horseman caused me to examine that part of myself. 😅 Ah btw I'm mid season 4 in Adventure Time now lol I love that show, thanks for picking it hehe.

OMG no way I was about to write this when you first announced your rewatch episodes but for some reason I didn't I was gonna say I hope you do the depression episode from Bojack and then I was like eh maybe people would be too bummed out but I'm so glad you chose it can't wait to watch this reaction right now! ❤ So yeah guess my "haven't seen this show" streak is over because I've definitely seen Bojack...there aren't a lot of shows that can continuously make me laugh and cry in the same episode but Bojack is definitely one of those!

I think I saw the first 2 eps and gave up. Life is too short to binge bad TV. It says that on my medical alert bracelet
