A lonely spread. We begin with the Spring Knight III, which symbolizes a one-on-one duel. Nobody can help with the fight, but nobody can come in on the opponents side as well. A true test of readiness, but a lonely one. This bring us to the Ninth of Winter, which almost explicitly means loneliness. However, the Ninth of Winter also carries implications of feelings of abandonment. Who has left you to fight this battle alone? How, if at all, should you confront them?
And now we come to the final card in the spread, the Waning Crescent. A fitting card for endings, and a card that may carry the answers you seek. The waning crescent is how when things come to a close, the truth of their nature is revealed. Only in the absence of something can you know its true value.
