The Owl House S01 E15 Full Length Reaction

Ooooh y'all we're diving deeper into character development in this one and I am ALL. HERE. FOR. IT.

Let me know what you thought of this episode as well as your answer to my question for the comment section. Looking forward to discussing this one with you :D

I can relate to that entirely lol! Whenever the character hits that invisible wall, I always think that the character is trapped in some kind of simulation like that one Black Mirror episode where that guy was forced to live 2000 (or something like that) years in a simulation; while also being forced to listen to that same Christmas song over and over again. I believe the episode was called "White Christmas".

Omg Thomas Newman is one of my favorite composers and “Nemo’s Egg” makes me cry every time! So you are definitely not alone lol! I appreciate YOU ☺️

I think my favorite part is how expansive the open world is! I remember when I was younger playing video games and you hit an imaginary wall after walking towards the skyline for a while but this world it feels SO BIG and realistic! I will spend hours just running around exploring lol

Oh yeah that makes sense! Gotta occupy your time in the sky somehow right? What interests you the most with the game if you don't mind me asking?

Oh man I think that movie still holds up to this day, especially as far as animation goes like the detail they put into the underwater is insane! There’s just something about that little soundtrack to the opening credits too it just never fails to make me tear up🙈 I don’t know if its just my sentimental value of that movie but I think it’s a really lovely little score regardless:’) That’s so funny when I asked the question I didn’t really have an answer myself straight away and at first I was gonna go with this random day with my old friends for much the same reasons you did, just that feeling of like complete weightlessness, free of the crushing weight of adulthood I guess😂 No this was awesome thank you so much for sharing mate I really appreciate your openness and the time you always put into your responses✨

LOL I feel like no one in the Owl House would give you a straight answer for different reasons. Eda would be evasive, King would ramble on about something that you weren't sure if it was reality or some gruesome fantasy, Hooty would... well we saw what Hooty would do 🤣 Maaaaybeeee Luz could give a good interview, but she would have to be in her confident mode and not her awkward mode haha. I agree that this episode was super cool in terms of animation and plot- it was DEFINITELY serving Gravity Falls vibes. I loved the hot pink of the flames. And omg yeah Hexside has got it out for these kids 🤣 Although the rest of the Boiling Isles- which we haven't seen much of- looks even more dangerous so maybe the teachers are just preparing them for the "real world"? Or maybe I'm giving them too much credit... Oh that is really sweet that the Finding Nemo premiere is a cherished memory for you! I remember being blown away at that film too! My aunt loves to tell the story at family reunions that apparently I told her watching it would "change her life!" 🤣 I have this memory of driving in a car with the windows down with some of my best friends at like age 17. It wasn't any particularly special day and I don't even remember where we were going or why but I just felt so young and free in that moment. We were all cracking up at something... I think it was Kingdom Hearts related? Because we were playing through that game as a group at the time? Lol ANYWAYS I've gone down into a rabbit hole of details now but yeah that moment always makes me feel super nostalgic and happy

I would use the word "gamer" veeerrrryyyy loosely to describe me 🤣 I really enjoy video games even though I'm not good at them! I do believe BOTW is making me a better player though, so who knows- maybe I'll be a true gamer in no time! I can't recommend the Switch enough! It's an investment for sure, but well worth the hours of enjoyment you get out of it. I've had a blast with it and it's really cool to be able to take it on the road with me when I travel.

Wow that's awesome! I forgot you were also a gamer! I know the feeling of being hooked on video games lolz. That game must be REALLY good if the game is that addicting. Might have to invest in a Nintendo Switch myself ^_^ Thanks for the talk queen and good look with the start of your new work week!

Hey nothing wrong with that! I’m looking forward to some chill time myself the next few days ☺️ I’ve been addicted to playing Breath of the Wild recently because I finally invested in a Switch! Im worried I’ll never love another game again as much as this one though 🤣 And I love your portal theory… Here’s hoping 😍👁💙

Yeah I’d definitely have to go with Eda for an interview that would be such an entertaining sit down! I mean it’d be all over the place chaos and I don’t think I’d get a single straight answer but I imagine still a more enlightening interview than one with King lol, no offence to the little cutieee✨ This episode was super interesting! I loved how Willow’s memories were represented as different trees in a forest, such beautiful imagery! The animation in general this episode was just great, and what a fun concept for an episode! This world seems almost limitless with its potential for craziness so I hope we get to see more cool ideas like this fleshed out going forward. Also I’m probably thinking way too much into it but I have to say this school, this whole dimension actually never ceases to amaze me with its blatant disregard for the safety of kids😂 LIKE WHY ARE WE RIPPING HIGHLY FLAMMABLE CORE MEMORIES OUT OF STUDENTS EARS?!?surely this isn’t the first incident where something has gone wrong in that class, granted the teacher did say be careful but STILL! I guess there wouldn’t be anything interesting going on if they cared deeply about the kid’s safety though so I’ll shut up😂 Also I hope I wasn’t the only one getting mad Gravity Falls flashbacks this whole episode! Luz and Amity going into Willow’s mind reminded me so much of Dreamscapers, and seeing a glimpse into amity’s home life reminded me so much of Pacifica, the only thing missing from that flashback was a little bell! For my question this week I wanted to know, if you could have your own best memory Polaroids pulled from your ear with magic, what do you think one of them would be? (If that’s not too personal a question of course!) I have this vivid memory of my nana taking me to see Finding Nemo when that originally released, I must’ve only been like 4 or 5 at the time but I’m pretty sure that’s the first movie I ever saw in theatres, I love that I remembered that because the movies is my absolute favourite place in the world, I’ve always loved the cinema experience and just the way you can completely immerse yourself I guess, so yeah the origins of my comfort place paired with a great time with my nana = elite core memory✨ Hope you’re doing well dude and thank you for another awesome video!:D

Neat! You never know, it could be a lucky charm or a missing piece to a magical door that opens up a portal to a majestic utopia! hehe!

Wow 6 days?! Yeah that jet lag is no joke! But I'm glad that the money makes up for it! ^_^ Especially in Texas as I hear that state tax is quite equitable! =D My week wasn't very exciting unfortunately as I pretty much worked and chilled the whole week lolz.

And I'm glad to have you back 😊 The Fox and The Hound is a heartbreaker for sure 🥺❤️

"that would likely cause quite a few stories to end with an "Interview's over!"." This made me crack up! I read that in her voice. And I think you're absolutely right! If you got too personal with her, she'd close up.

Yessss another vote for Eda! And lol I'm trying to get used to doing it seriously but it's so hard not to laugh 🙈

OOh we haven't learned very much about the bard track yet, have we? Or am I just forgetting? lol And okay YES Lilith interview!!! I might have to change my answer. I'm itching to know more about her as a character! Plus I feel like she would have lots of T to spill on Eda as a kid

We'll see... you gotta fight me for her 😎

LOL Amish you have got it out for Amity!!!

A family friend of mine brought that necklace back with her from Lebanon! It's the symbol of the "evil eye" and it's meant to protect you from anything bad happening to you... I don't know if I believe all that but I figure it can't hurt to wear it just in case 🤣

Hi Zulu! I've been flying around all over the place this week! I had work 6 days in a row and I am definitely feeling the jetlag 🤣 But I need the money, so I'm not complaining! How was your week? Did you do anything fun this weekend?

I think King would make for the most entertaining interview because he is so openly narcissistic that he wouldn't censor or hold anything back, so you would get all of the juicy details. He also seems to be a bit delusional, so a tinge of embellishment would add just enough absurdity to keep the reader fascinated as long as the author crafted those moments with a knowing wink. I know that Eda is also a bit of a narcissist, but she is clearly hiding more than her share of pain and secrets and that would likely cause quite a few stories to end with an "Interview's over!". I suspect it would be a struggle to get a solid narrative from her. I have been so busy that I've fallen behind in this series. Yesterday I had to binge all of the YouTube edits of the episodes that I had missed so that I could get back on track with this one. I'm glad I did because nothing touches me more emotionally than loss of friendship, so seeing the full episode was the only way to watch it. Death in stories always makes me sad, but for some reason loss of friendship usually hits me more. To me, without giving anything away, The Fox and the Hound is the most heartbreaking of the Disney animated films. I guess I'm just weird like that. Lol Anyway, glad to be back!

Eda, I love her personality. And may I add your opening hoot hoot came off as especially adorable. (You didn't hesitate this time)

DarkAshtar

I think red is the bard track. I would interview Lilith, head of the emperors coven. She is a powerfull person with lots of knowledge.

Gregor Wolff

I'd interview Edalyn. She's much closer to my age, so we could end the interview with a ... we'll call it a date.

The Amish Electrician

Your analysis is all wrong. Amity is clearly just evil.

The Amish Electrician

Hey Alycia! How was your week? =] And that is a really cool neckless you have in this video! Is it supposed to resemble an eye?
