Kinda funny I simply assumed that he had a different voice actor and that was their throwaway joke of explaining it xD What's weird is now that you guys are talking about voice changes and thinking about it I can't for the life of me remember it...I mean I guess it must have happened right? But I have zero memory of it ^^

When my voice changed, I was like "Huh?? :0" and then after a few minutes I was excited. And yeahh, it does make my voice sound waay different in my head than how it actually sounds like to anyone else😂

The fun thing is that the voice sounds deeper to the speaker than it sounds to the listener. I don't recall why, but it has something to do with the way sound travels through solid objects, in this case the skull.

Unfortunately, that's *sigh* too long ago for me to remember anything more than "Oh cool, I'm becoming a man. Guess I should hide my Barbie dolls." My focus was more on my height change, than my voice change.

Holy crap! I didn't realize it could happen that quickly! I was telling Amish right above this that I'm clueless about the male voice- change. I never had any brothers and I feel like most of the guys in my grade would just come back from summer break with different voices lol. Were you excited when it happened or sort of weirded out? Does it make your voice sound different in your head too? I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS lol!

Omg! 0 to 100 real quick lol! I feel like that would be such a bizarre experience! Is it dissociating at all? Or since you know it's coming at some point are you more like... Oh, it's happening... that's cool? 🤣 I'm super clueless on this topic but now I'm curious!

Oh my gosh thank you for pointing that out. Yeah, I believe there's more to him than meets the eye but *what* that is remains to be seen... And I would be so down for some legendary glyphs... like legendary pokemon but Boiling Isles style lol. I feel like Bat Queen would know if there were more. I wonder if we'll see more of her this season

Amity's mom has got some major hubris that's off the charts. And when Gus got his deep voice, it reminded me of the day after I got my deep voice. I was visiting my grandparents for the summer and I called my mom that morning and she didn't recognize my voice at first😂

Speaking of Gus' voice change, I can relate. I was in choir in middle school, and over just a few weeks I went from soprano to tenor. By the time I started high school a few months later, I was a baritone.

It would interesting if Amity's dad ended up secretly being a human.

Havent been able to get a clear read on Amity's dad yet. The mom is pretty straight forward but there may be more to the dad then meets the eye - doesnt seem to be a lot of attention paid to the kids from either one. I guess Im coming around to accepting Lilith - but lets see what happens if she regains her powers or masters Luz's - Im not 100% sure what she would do if she had a chance to return to the Emperor's coven. I do love how no one thinks Lumity is odd just because it is 2 girls but I wonder if difficulties are ahead, esp since Luz is "not one of us" - Is anti-human prejudice a thing here?

The "my Luz" line was definitely the standout moment of the show. A few tears came out of my right eye. It was very sweet. And, again, I'm glad they just let those moments play without shoving them down the audience's throat. They're just letting things get there. I was surprised at how effected Principal Bump was by the absence of the trio. He seemed so different when he was first introduced and I know he was won over by Luz, but I guess I didn't realize HOW much -lol. It was adorable. I really love how Lilith and Eda are giving Luz the respect of a person who can truly teach them; to the point where Lilith is trying to be a teacher's pet as Eda is rebelling against authority. Somehow, the student has become the master. I find it interesting that they've established that all spells come from combining just the existing base glyphs, but I wonder if there really ARE legendary glyphs out there somewhere. I think the fact that Amity's dad had no interest in kneeling speaks volumes.
