The Owl House S02 E06 "Hunting Palismen" Reaction

The big question - what kind of Palisman will Luz carve? Since we already have an owl, maybe she'll carve an Owl beast? Nah!

Since the episode was about already existing/carved Palisman I have to assume they belonged to witches who are no longer living. The Bat Queen indicates that the little cardinal was without a partner for a long time which in my evil, twisted mind makes me think it's original partner was either a young(er) Belos or an ancestor of Hunter. Hmmm?

I was thinking the same thing about the staff! And I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a redemption. I'm starting to really like him as a character and he seems to be giving his bias towards wild magic a second thought. And who couldn't love that sweet little cardinal palisman!? (Well....Belos actually 🤣)

Okay King as Bill was TERRIFYING lol! Also it's kind of funny how similar their dialogue is. They're both so power-hungry lol!

Interesting how Hunter's staff gives him magical powers without a palisman. Similar to Belos himself, his powers dont seem to come from the bile sac, but ingesting whatever powers palisman directly. Hmmm. Can a redemption arc for Hunter be far away?

Oh, I’m guessing you already filmed your 2x07 reaction, but if you haven’t (or if you didn’t notice this in the episode) the new character uses they/them pronouns! We also saw a tiny glimpse of them in episode 1x17, when Eda was showing King the picture of her with the grudgby trophy. There’s another picture on the left side of the screen and it shows a young Eda linking arms with someone in a red Hexside uniform, but their face is covered by a ticket.
