Absolutely! Thank goodness that stressful stuff is over with! I just have to get use to this Puerto Rican or Persian family above me. Their kids seem to be always running, which is very distracting. Especially since I work from. Luckily school started back up for them and I don't hear much from them anymore.😁 Can't wait for your new videos tomorrow and the day after tomorrow! šŸ˜šŸ‘

MY HEART šŸ„¹šŸ’–

Oh my gosh congrats on your new place! Moving is stressful but once the hard stuff it over I always enjoy getting settled in and making the space my own. I hope you're having a good time of it :) Thank you for the compliment on my hair 😊 And I agree about the VO! I even looked online to see if it was really him but you're absolutely right- the difference is that we can understand him šŸ˜†

LOL oh my gosh Amish this comment cracked me up 🤣 Also how is the pup!?

Me too!!!! Welcome to the patreon gang, Patricia :D

But how was your birthday celebration? Did you have a good time? Went all out?

I don’t really know what people would think if they entered my place. Truth be told, I haven’t really had a place that was truly my own. Or I should say, not a place where I could really show and make my own. Not to say, places like the rooms of the houses I would live in over the years didn’t give away that I was a kid growing up, but I would always have to accommodate with the space I was given. Bedrooms that were a sibling’s, parent’s wanted to renovate the room, so I had to share one with a cousin or live in there while it was being worked on, etc. As you get older, and come into…well…you…you start to get things that reflect your own interests and on a subconscious level, where your mind is. Along with music (still have all my CD’s…lol), band posters, instruments, and game systems, I had my books (if you’re on the dweeb discord you saw how many boxes I had just for my books, now imagine a New York studio apartment. That’s the size of the rooms I lived in up until my mid/late twenties). But not just fiction books either. I had notebooks, journals, sketch books, notepads, and scraps of papers of different size and variety all over the place. I should also mention that I have always been a messy person. I always get reminded by my parent’s or relative’s that I would always find a way to justify why I didn’t pick up my toys or clothes off of the ground. (My aunt said I tried showing her how to tiptoe around my power rangers and other toys so I could get to my bed. Which was also filled with toys and clothes.) As I got older, I did learn how to clean up after myself, but with someone with ADD/ADHD (I also advocate for messy people being closet geniuses. Not to say I am one, but the test results are kind of on the money…lol), and a mother who is an unaware Karen, it’s never clean enough. Not to say it’s one of the reasons I'm being kicked out of my condo (which I own the majority of, and pay all of the bills and taxes for) but I never felt like I should (could) do anything to make it my own. (Not to mention that I moved in when covid hit, and had to go on medical leave, and live off of stimulus/state aid, and realized my job was lowballing me…it’s a whole can of worms.) Now that I’m moving to an apartment, where I don’t have to worry about such things as people dropping by to lecture me, or threaten eviction(another can of worms…lol), or anything else, I feel like I can make it my own. Truly. Plus, it’s sort of a hole, and I know how to fix stuff up. Lol, but I think when it comes to people thinking if a kid or an adult is living there, I think it all depends on who looks at it. Friends either care enough to say something or know that they are only going to be there for a short period of time. Family, especially parent’s care more. They can care a little too much…in my experience, and talk shit as they clean, or ask why you have a couch in one place where they would have the TV in… (I’d say a few visitors have come and gone, but I’m usually not with them long enough to hear their opinion) From what I (we dweebs I mean) see of your place Al, is that you’re very tidy, but also organized. I’m sure that’s something you’ve always have done growing up, to you having your own place in some form and capacity, or the fact you’re so busy with work that you don’t stay long enough to make a large mess. (Sort of on that same boat, but never liked cleaning…yeah you make your place look nicer and what not, but maybe me as a writer with ADHD/ADD, I would always get distracted, and want to do something else. I think it’s funny to mention when I try to write, I procrastinate by cleaning…everything…lol) I can only imagine what it’s going to be like when I meet someone and move in with them, or vice versa. I know we might clash, but it’s mostly what you and your other want to do. I’ve been in houses where seven kids and their parent’s lived all together and it was the tidiest house I’ve ever been in. On the other hand, I’ve been to a friend’s house where they just had their first child, and the place is a complete mess. Just depends on who sees it, and who can say that’s (insert name here) place for sure! They may be going through something, or your timing is the worst…lol.

My inner child was born a grumpy old man. I always got along better with adults and senior citizens better than kids my own age. In my teenage years I made better friends with more parents than their kids. I even befriended teachers when in middle school or high school, I actually was arrogant enough to see myself as their equal... Even though a few times, I know at least one time I was smarter than one of my teachers. (She was an AP Biology teacher, she was the cheerleading coach and attractive. When we were working in class in groups a fellow group member referred to a place that was an overgrown area around a deserted drainage system as a good place to collect insects (which was part of out main project for the class) as Chernobyl. she straight up asked us where we came up with such a weird name as Chernobyl... She a teacher of biology unaware of a major biological event that happened in her lifetime and she's supposed to be teaching college level courses. Don't think she was trying to be funny, she seriously asked us where we made up that name? And we were like you know, back in the in the 80's, USSR, meltdown, she just was like I don't know what that means but pay more attention to the lesson. Lost all respect for her. I had two other female biology teachers that should have been in that position. She'd have been a decent Bio 1 teacher but her cuteness and being Cheerleading coach got her the position of AP teacher.

Hey Alycia!!! Great reaction as always! To answer your question from the video, I think I’m the same as you; they would waste no time taking me in as an adult šŸ˜† . I just moved into my new apartment last week(hurray!!! šŸ¤—šŸ¤—), and brought nothing but adult things with me hehe 😁. Sorry I forgot to let you know about it sooner šŸ˜…. To answer your question from your description, my inner child most definitely shows more haha . Tom Kenny did a phenomenal job voicing Sly in this episode! I almost thought it was actually him voicing his character until I realized that we could actually understand what he was saying, which is very uncharacteristic for the real Stallone because he needs an actual translator to translate what the hell he’s saying most the time. I love your hair btw!šŸ˜

My inner child ... the judge said I had to stop showing my inner adult.
