A lion, riding a black horse, carrying a viper. Name derived from the vinea, a roman siege engine resembling a small wheeled house to allow soldiers to approach walls. His leonine appearance is similar to that of Purson, implying that he too is a fallen angel.
Vine seems to be one of the few demons explicitly capable, or given charge, of creating objects. The works of wayne barlowe attribute infernal artifice to a process involving reshaping a mortal soul, referring to structures in hell as being formed of “soul bricks”
