Abilities: Treasure, Love
Legions: 30
Rank: Duke
Notes:
Name is likely derived from the latin Calere, meaning warmed, hot, or glowing, used figuratively to mean aroused or inflamed. Wears two crowns which is interesting, this is possibly a reference to the egyptian double crowns, symbolizing the union of upper and lower egypt, but a reasonable explanation would be that Saleos simply killed another Duke and took their crown. It would certainly explain their allegiance to pacifism. It is interesting that later texts do not mention the double crown, perhaps saleos passed it on to another duke between the writing of the libre officiorum and pseudomonarchia? Given their supposedly pacifist nature, It would make sense that Saleos prefers subterfuge to outright combat, despite their armored appearance. Their relation to magic would almost definitely place them under Purson.
Brand of the pacifist - Through the sacrifice of a small but significant amount of blood, the voice of the marked becomes enhanced, and all those who hear it become eldritch sinks, unable to perform any sort of magic. However this also affects the marked, making any sort of retaliation difficult. Perhaps this is the point.
