23 - Focalor - Mentioned in Book of Incantations, The Discoverie of Witchcraft, Pseudomonarchia Daemonum, and The Lesser Key of Solomon

Focalor is a great duke comming foorth as a man, with wings like a griphen, he killeth men, and drowneth them in the waters, and overturneth ships of warre, commanding and ruling both winds and seas. And let the conjuror note, that if he bid him hurt no man, he willinglie consenteth thereto: he hopeth after 1000. yeares to returne to the seventh throne, but he is deceived, he hath three legions.

The 41 spirit in order is called Focalor he is a great duke & strong, & appeareth in ye forme of a Man with griffins wings; his office is, to kill men, and to drown them in ye waters, and to over throw ships of warre, for he hath power over both winds and seas, but he will not hurt any man or Thing, if he be commanded to ye contrary by ye Exorcist; he hath hopes to returne to ye 7th Throne after 1000 yeares; he governeth 3 Legions of spirits, his seal is this wch must be worne as a Lamin.

Appearance: A man with wings like a gryphon

Subrace: Outcast, wishes to return, unsure of former rank, 

Abilities: Kills men by drowning them, overturning ships of war, usually via weaving storms

Legions: 3

Rank: Duke

Notes: The small amount of legions under his command make me think Focalors role is akin to an elite military unit. Presently, I would put them under Balaam. If you’d allow me to indulge the pun, I would put focalor at the head of the air force.

Brand of the Gale - The marked gains the ability to command wind. The brand is physically exhausting to use and fairly limited when unaided, however via the addition of a blood sacrifice, the brands abilities are temporarily magnified tenfold, allowing for incredibly destructive feats of evocation. This can allow for limited flight.
