Notes:
Interesting to see another outcast, I wonder what the significance of some demons retaining their former angelic beauty is. He seems to be another form of treasure spirit, but with the addition of a draconic mount.
I am unsure of its relevance, but for much of occult history serpents and reptiles in general are heavily associated with the gathering of esoteric knowledge. The fact that so many demons are described as baring serpents makes me think that there is some additional significance to their roles. However, serpents are also associated with the devil in general, and in all likelihood the imagery of snakes is a convenient bit of visual language to denote skill with magic.
Some texts rank Valac as a prince, though he seems to fit better in the role of president, likely presiding over some aspect of the creation and distribution of familiars. Perhaps the mount implies a role in hell that involves travel?
Brand of the Serpent - The marked can manifest shadowy serpents, bound to the users will. The serpents can act semi-autonomously, and can relay information learned instantly by licking the inside of the marked’s ear in the traditional fashion. Manifestation begins as an ordeal, causing significant blood loss, but the toll can be reduced with practice and favor.
